During the 17th and 18th September I will celebrate the International Domino Tournament Cartagena City, organized by the Regional Federation of Domino with the collaboration of the Department of Sports and Tourism.
In total, 80 couples have registered from the mainland and the Canaries, and have also shown interest in players from the Dominican Republic and Venezuela.
In addition, the organization has organized a series of accompanying tours of the city, including the Roman Theatre, the catamaran tour, the panoramic lift and the Castillo de la Concepción.
The opening of the tournament on Saturday at 10.30 hours, will be attended by the Councillor for Tourism, Palazón Carolina, and this first phase will take place in the halls of the cafeteria of El Corte Ingles, on the 6th floor, while on Sunday, the championship will move to the Mare Nostrum restaurant rooms at the port, taking care of the closure, about 13.30 hours, the Councillor for Sports, José Cabezas.
The International Domino Tournament I Cartagena City will distribute more than 15,000 euros in prizes, with 4,000 euros for the winning couple, who also will be a trophy made ​​for the occasion in which it appears the Teatro Romano, a column and a tab dominoes in a wooden stand.
