The City of Cartagena, through the Department of New Technologies, has developed a new application to download all information from the parties Carthaginians and Romans on mobile phones.
Councillor for New Technologies, Diego Ortega, together with the president of the Federation of Festivals Carthaginians and Romans, Antonio Madrid, and Head of the Computer Hall, Miguel Rodriguez, presented the Smartphone application during a press conference in Palace Hall.
The application is free and available p ara Iphone, Android, mobile web browsing with terminal system and Java via Bluetooth.
With this action we wanted to join the dissemination and promotion of the Carthaginians and Romans parties to recreate a very important part of the history of our beloved city, said Councilman Technologies, Diego Ortega.
Meanwhile, the president of the Federation troops and legions thanked this great idea that commitment to new technologies and makes the parties to reach many people beyond the 60,000 programs that are circulating festive by the tourist offices in Cartagena .
Specifically, the computer application can consult the official schedule of holiday days and classified by a geographic reference to locate the venue for each event, explained Miguel Rodriguez.
You can also find the actions of each troop, as well as the route of the parades on a plane.
It also includes a tab to access the site Tourist Information Town Hall through the Cartagena Mobile platform where you can consult other relevant data such as schedules, fares, restaurants or hotels.
There are three ways to download this application depending on the system:
- To Iphone, Carthaginians and Romans looking through the App Store.
- For Android, seeking the application in the Android Market.
- For other phones via bluetooth you can download for free through an alert that is activated when the phone is close to the festive camp (where it has installed a Bluetooth beacon) or any of the three tourist offices (the Palace Hall, of the Gates of San Jose and La Manga).
The official website of Carthaginians and Romans also developed a mobile web version for faster navigation from the terminals.
