The Art Nouveau European Route European Route of Modernism ¿, which belongs to the city of Cartagena, is a non profit organization formed by local governments and other public and private entities committed to the protection, improvement, dissemination and promotion the architectural and artistic heritage especially internationally known as Art Nouveau, and receives different names in different regions of Europe and the world (Jugendstil, Secession, Glasgow Style, Liberty, Arte Nova, Modernism ...).
The main objective of the route is to raise awareness among the citizens of Europe and the wider world heritage values ​​of the Art Nouveau, in order to better ensure their survival for future generations to enjoy.
