La Hermandad de Romeros de San Ginés, in collaboration with the Department of Celebrations of the City of Cartagena, organized a year the Pilgrimage of San Ginés de la Jara, meeting and twenty-eight-year celebration in honor of the patron romera Cartagena.
The XXVIII edition of the traditional Procession of San Ginés de la Jara is on Saturday August 27, 2011.

The festive day begins at 8.00 hours in the morning with the concentration of pilgrims, wagons, carriages and horses in the Church of La Caridad.
The itinerary of the pilgrimage tour the Charity Street and continue down the street Serreta, López Pinto, Bruna Angeles, Alfonso XIII, Juan de la Cosa, Jacinto Benavente, Sparta, Ingeniero de la Cierva, to the Church of San Ginés the Jara.

The last stop on the pilgrims will be on the esplanade of the Camacho, and from there continue the journey to Cartagena where he will be a parade from the bridge to the Campus Torreciega Festive Cartagonova Stadium.
