The Integrated External Surveillance (SIVE) detected in the early hours of Sunday, about 0:00 pm, a boat in the area of ​​Cabo de Palos - Cartagena.
Three hours later, about 3:00 am, a Civil Guard patrol boat intercepted a boat 16 miles off the coast, south of Calblanque in Cartagena.
The Civil Guard troops took charge of the 12 people aboard the vessel, all men, in apparent good health and apparently of Algerian nationality.
After being attended by members of the Red Cross, the immigrants were released to the National Police, where they instructed the relevant files back to their country.
