The Athletics Club La Manga has organized for the third consecutive year a charitable race, the Cross of Cape Palos, to be held on Saturday August 6, from 11 in the morning in this town.
The Club, a non-profit organization, has chosen this time to repair the damage caused by the earthquakes of Lorca as a cause to which to allocate revenues.
For that, hope to gather some 1,500 runners, with registration, will in turn help that manage the city of Lorca.
Moreover, as in previous years, part of what is achieved will be used to meet the Association for Persons with Down Syndrome Cartagena (ASID).

They have organized three outputs: a 300 meters under ten years, another 1,000 meters for runners 16 years and the last of 5,150 meters for the rest.
There is also the possibility of working without running through a dorsal 0 allows to donate to the recovery of the city of Lorca.
For the implementation of the Cross III Cabo de Palos, the organization has the support of the municipalities of Cartagena and San Javier, the Consortium of La Manga, the Port Authority of Cartagena and Murcia Health Service, among other authorities and institutions.
Have also joined the project companies and many residents who act as volunteers, including young people with Down syndrome Cartagena ASID, who will staff the aid stations for runners.
