The services implemented by the City Council through the Department of Sustainable Development and Sharing Car Sharing Parking, has increased the number of visitors in the last month.
So share car has gone from 381 to 643 visits in May in June, nearly double, rising from 752 to 765 users in May in June, of which 51.3% are offered as drivers while 34% do as passengers, and there are more users discharged with own car (58.1%) than those without a car point (41.9%).
As the profile of the user, the data show that users have an average age of 37 years in men and 35 women.
Of the 13 new users, 8 were men and 5 women.
By frequency of tours, trips are mostly sporadic, 58.5%, compared to regular routes, 41.5%, and destination, often occasional (55.1%), work (30 %) or, less frequently, to move to places of study and leisure (3.3%). The key travel is the beaches, the summer season, the Mar de Cristal and Islas Menores and La Manga.
They also come as a destination to Cartagena from Barcelona, ​​Malaga and Madrid.
On the other hand, the service Share Parking, another saving formulas proposed by the City, recorded in May and 118 visits in June 159 views.
This figure puts Cartagena second, behind Santander, compared to the 18 cities that have this shared service.
