On Monday July 18, 2011, the Polytechnic University of Cartagena (UPCT), hosts the Conference Outreach Commission Strategic Diagnostics Local Employment of the Campo de Cartagena, which includes the municipalities of Cartagena, La Unión, Source à lamo.
The Minister of Education, Training and Employment, Sotoca Constantine, and the Mayor of Cartagena, Pilar Barreiro, opened at 10.30 hours in the Salon de Grados of the Faculty of Business of the UPCT, former CIM (3 rd Plant, Calle Real, 3), the day of presentation of results of socio-economic study carried out by the Local Employment Committee Campo de Cartagena, to boost employment in the municipalities of Cartagena, Fuente à lamo and La Union.
A few minutes before the start will be a meeting with the media by the Minister of Education, Training and Employment, Sotoca Constantine, the Director General of SEF, Ginez Martinez, the mayors of the municipalities that make up the Local Employment Committee : Sweep or Pilar, mayor of Cartagena, Francico Barnabas, mayor of La Union, and María Antonia Conesa, mayor from source to lick.
This conference is organized by the Regional Employment Service and Training (SEF) and the city of Cartagena and aim to inform the entrepreneurs, the business community and society in general, new potentially emerging economic sectors in the Shire .
The Local Employment Commission Field of Cartagena, which includes all the social part, is coordinated by the SEF, which among its objectives is to identify areas for joint action and the design and implementation of new mechanisms that generate higher and better jobs, and enhancing new production scenarios, which led to a development model focused on the territories.
To advance this goal, it was decided by all the institutional and social members of different local commissions, conducting a strategic diagnosis of each of the Districts in our Region.
The study is funded by the Regional Employment and Training, and executed by those local councils that were agreed in the framework of each committee.
The draft Local Employment Committees is seen as objective to influence positively on the current labor market from a local perspective.
