On Saturday July 16 there will be the Mass and the traditional maritime procession with which the fishermen of Cartagena celebrate the feast of the Virgen del Carmen, patron saint of fishermen.
After the Mass, who will officiate at 18.30 pm at the church of St. James parish priest of the same, Obradors Angeles will be held the traditional procession by boat on the fishing dock of the port, with transfer of the image of the Virgin from the said church to the fishing pier, accompanied by faithful and fishermen.
The procession will be at 19.30 hours and it is expected, including members of the Municipal Corporation, including the council of Social Care, Antonio Calderon, District, Isaiah Camarzana and Maria Jose Roca.
Following tradition, the event will end with a bouquet of flowers thrown into the sea as a memorial to those killed in the sea.
