The beaches of Cala Cortina, Cala del Pino and Playa Honda, will raise tomorrow, Friday, July 15 blue flags awarded by the European Federation of Environmental Education.
The act of hoisting the flags will be attended by Second Deputy Mayor and Councillor for Decentralization, Nicholas Angel Bernal, Councillor for Infrastructure, Francisco Espejo, the Councillor for Tourism, Palazón Carolina, and the general coordinator of Infrastructure and Litoral, Gabriel Ruiz.
The tour starts around 11.30 hours in Cala Cortina and from there moved to the Pine Creek in La Manga, Playa Honda, in that order.
In total, six Cartagena beaches have the distinction of the blue flag of the European Federation of Environmental Education, with the three mentioned are the Levante Cabo de Palos and San Gines La Azohia.
In addition to the blue path, given the 10,000-step route between La Manga and Cabo de Palos.
Moreover, the three beaches that morning blue flag have also the hallmark of quality Q awarded by the Institute for Quality Tourism in Spain, and has been awarded a total of eleven beaches of Cartagena, placing our municipality the head of the Spanish municipalities with the largest number of certified beaches.
