With the start of the summer, the City of Cartagena launches Road Safety Campaign on the "Use of bicycles in the urban environment."

Between July 15 and September 1 will increase the local police surveillance throughout the municipality, especially in the councils of the coast and in the center of Cartagena.

"Respect" is the keyword of the information campaign during which he distributed brochures with tips for 5000 cyclists, motorists and pedestrians on road rules of conduct.

Recommendations for cyclists: Do not use headphones as to not hear vehicles approaching from behind, have a liability insurance for bicycles can cover them in case of accident, and always move in the right lane and wearing a helmet.

OBJECTIVES OF THE CAMPAIGN

MAJOR VIOLATIONS OF CYCLISTS AND DRIVERS
