About 500 children enjoyed a year with the Colonies of Music and Summer Schools, which already fulfill its eighth year with the aim of offering children and parents an alternative recreational and educational for the holiday season.
This has been explained this morning, the Councillor for Education, Josefa Maroto, during the open day at school St. Isidore and St. Florentina to know the program activities of the Summer School Musical and the Colonies.
Thirteen schools all over the city this summer workshops offered during the month of July, the councilor explained.
To the sound of Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious, a group of 15 children between 3 and 5 years prepare the choreography in the dance workshop, a unique form of fun, play a few more days with their peers before breaking for the holidays, and, above all, work artistic sensibility through the music, and whoever sows that collects, reminded the Councillor, and these children can be great artists of the future.
The class schedule is the same for the rest of the year from 9 to 14.00 hours, as explained by the center director and Santa Florentina San Isidoro, Pedro José Palazón.
Work at the center 75 children divided into four groups divided by age, between 3 and 5, 6 and 8, from 9 to 10 years and 11 to 13 years, and served for four monitors children's education.
Councillor of Education has also visited the workshops of the summer CHOOL that develop in school Mastia, among other places, and that will be active throughout the month of July, Monday to Friday from 9.00 to 14.00 hours, workshops, sports, English, dance and others, aimed at children between 5 and 12 years.
