Seventeen musicians on stage in a fusion of rhythms to dance and enjoy is the letter of the Notte della Taranta Ensemble, tomorrow Friday April 8 will open the festival La Mar de Músicas.
Former drummer of The Police, Stewart Copeland, is the star of this group that fuses the sounds to the beat of primitive Tamborello and forces you to move your body in an almost instinctive.
This was presented this morning at the Teatro Circo, a small demonstration of what tomorrow will be the inaugural concert at the Auditorio Parque Torres to 23.00 hours.
Coperland accompanying members of La Notte Della Taranta (or spider), taking the name of a popular festival of Salento (the region of Puglia, southern Italy), which is a religious ritual to cure affected by the bite of this spider are urging them to dance known as the 'pizzica' Salento.
