A total of 985 people have sued the training activities that the Agency of Local Development and Employment has set up throughout the first half of 2011.
The actions that the Department of Training has been conducted ADLE between January and June, are intended to address the specific training needs of the unemployed, focusing on new sources of employment and emerging sectors.
Programs such as Schools Workshop, employment workshops, training courses, workshops Occupational Programs, Mobility and Initial Vocational Training Program, have enabled us to form such a high number of people in the municipality of Cartagena.
The Department of Education Agency has improved the level of qualifications of about 300 users unemployed, who successfully completed the courses have increased their chances of employability.
The implementation of various projects and training activities mentioned above, has led to the hiring of 28 teachers, of whom 46 percent are women.
The Agency of Local Development and Employment has a counseling service for training, which served about 3,000 people throughout 2010.
