Learn the basics of playing safety for pedestrians and drivers to be good tomorrow, is the fundamental objective of the Summer School Driver Education today opened its doors in Park Street Bruna Angeles. Thirty children aged 9 and 16 years participating in the activities to be undertaken during the months of July and August, organized jointly by the Department of Education and Public Safety through the School of Public Safety Town Hall (Espace).

The initiative of the Summer School began seven years ago as a separate bid to take advantage of the holiday, have fun and, above all, learn the basics of security, from wearing helmets when riding a bike and learn the signs, how do emergency and how to work together, as explained Councillor for Citizen Security, Mariano García.

New this year is that classes will be held also in August and have added two more monitors to meet the guys today began their first lectures.

Starting tomorrow, practice what you learned in the circuit of the park road safety education with the material to be made ​​available, bicycles, tricycles, and most fun karts, as pointed out by Salvador Martinez, Local Police and one of four monitors Schools.

Classes are held every Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday between 10.00 and 12.00 hours in the morning, so games are also scheduled with water to avoid the heat during activities outside the classroom.

Also, show some films related to the passive safety in the vehicle, forms of action in case of accident, how alcohol affects on driving, how to ride a bike correctly by the city as well as several campaigns of the Directorate General Traffic.

There will be a craft workshop where children made from cardboard boxes of different buildings in the park (town hall, theater, school ...) to exercise guidance, explained Martinez.

At the end of the course will give everyone a diploma certifying that he has participated in the Summer School Driver Education.

Summer School Driver Education is held every Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday from 10.00 to 12.00 hours during the months of July and August.
