The twenty students in the course of geriatric care delivery have received their diplomas from the hands of the Social Care Councillor of the City of Cartagena, Antonio Calderon, during a ceremony on Thursday June 30 classroom building vocational training of the Miraculous.
The course, organized by the Municipal Social Services, is aimed at job training for unemployed and is supported by the Regional Employment and Training of the Autonomous Community of Murcia and funded by the European Social Fund.
The course of geriatric care at home, starts February 1 and for 480 teaching hours, students have studied the following subjects: Health and home care, home care and psychosocial support, home care and feeding practices and family practitioners do not work geriatric care to people at home.
For this performance the only requirement is training to be enrolled in the employment office as unemployed and have the Graduate School, FP 1, or equivalent.
The course is free for students.
The City of Cartagena and the Autonomous Community, they want to answer the great demand in the service sector in the Murcia region, making it possible by means of the necessary training courses to unemployed people of working age and job seekers to that this type of specific actions allowed their inclusion in working life.
