Local police takes place from Friday 1 July until 15 September, a campaign of enforcement of ordinances on the access of pets to public places.
The agents mainly controlled beaches each summer, as well as parks and other public spaces.
The campaign will remind the owners of animals required to bring them bound and prevent them from invading the beaches and deposit droppings in the sand, urging owners to always pick the sidewalks, promenades, gardens, and generally, any place by transiting pedestrians.
FINES 30 TO 3,000 EUROS
The agents act first warning the owner of the obligation to comply with the recommendations and can report it later if you violate the rules.
In case of violation, the ordinance provides for fines l ranging from 30 to 300 euros for minor offenses, from 301 to 1750 euros for serious offenses, and fines of between 1,750 to 3,000 euros for very serious offenses.
In imposing the sanctions will take into account the social effects or health and injury caused by the offense.
SPECIAL ATTENTION "DANGEROUS DOGS NA
The campaign pays special attention to dog breeds considered potentially dangerous, such as: Pit Bull Terrier, Staffordshire Terrier, Staffordshire Terrier Amica, Rottweiler, Dogo Argentino, Fila Brasileiro, Tosa Inu and Akita Inu.
In these cases, the regulations require the owner to take the animal with a muzzle-appropriate racial typology, control with no chain or belt stretch and wear administrative license and the certificate proving they have been enrolled in the Municipal Register of animals potentially dangerous.
