The councilman of Social Care, Antonio Rodríguez Calderón, has closed during major painting for the project's Volunteer Experience Vault Municipal Institute of Social Services.
The closing took place this morning in the classroom over the building of La Milagrosa, and has had an exhibition of work by the 30 seniors who have participated in the workshop.
The Vault of experience is a volunteer project where a volunteer teacher for classes she teaches, this time painting older students enrolled in the course, working contents of drawing and painting techniques in the modalities of acrylic paints, watercolors and charcoal.
Among the various objectives pursued in the Major Program of the City of Cartagena through the various initiatives is to encourage the active participation of older people by offering courses that occupy their leisure time creatively and orderly development their personal capacities, and promoting social and cultural exchange, to prevent situations of isolation and loneliness, improve their quality of life.
