The Shop Around the Letters of the People's University, held last night an end of course with his traditional verse poetry recital and Fire, which this year was dedicated to the memory of Basil Galindo, Fellow of the UP who died last December.
The tribute took place at the Plaza Ortega Cano, next to Ramón Alonso Luzzy Cultural Center, home to the UP.
Marketplace pupils and colleagues of the Department of Culture and Youth, participated as readers in the show The Tree of Life, an anthology of poems of the twentieth century whose protagonists different trees.
The tribute, which linked the nature of that Galindo was a lover Basilio, letters, developed together with a copy of blackberry juniper planted recently, and which was placed a commemorative plaque.
