Forty women from different nationalities, mostly from Nigeria and Morocco have participated on Monday June 13 at the closing ceremony of the academic year 2010-11 Workshop Immigrant Women's Advocacy Centers Intercultural Intercultural Center Casco Antiguo.
The students received diplomas in charge of the Immigration Program Coordinator and Development Cooperation, Lucia Hernández Martínez, as well as various professionals in the program who contributed to these workshops.
It also tasted a breakfast prepared by the students themselves.
Promotion Workshop for Women is a resource that aims to equip women of foreign origin who live in our city information and training needed to increase their autonomy and to promote the new society they are part.
Some of the topics to be addressed this year were: information on foreigners, physiotherapy and obstetrics, labor integration, home economics, co-education, educational system, among others.
For the treatment of these issues has received various professional Immigration Program and other entities such as health centers in each of the neighborhoods.
