Cartagena Puerto de Culturas failed the prizes of the V edition of the Photography Competition, which aims to show the transformation of the last 10 years of an ancient city through its historic sites and especially through the eyes and experiences of all those who come to the city and enjoy its resources.
Alfonso Martínez Roca has won first prize with his image entitled "Trip to pass over or", and José Carlos Pérez Gómez, has won the second prize with a photograph entitled "Interactive History".
Both awards are funded with 800 euros and 400 euros respectively, but were granted a total of five awards: in addition to the two awards, three second prize endowed with € 100 each.
The success of the competition achieved in the past has been repeated in this fifth edition, with broad participation of amateur photographers who hung your pictures on the website created for the event.
Over 600 photographs have shown the various facets and tourist options offered by the city of Cartagena, as the Roman city, the Defense Cartagena, the port, the University, among others.
The jury was composed of representatives from different professional areas from the photographic vision and culture to tourism through advertising applications.
