The Department of Education, together with the Ministry of Education, will invest about one and half million euros in the works to be carried out taking advantage of the summer months to expand and improve infrastructure in schools and institutes in the municipality.
The budget account this year that is less than 2010, given that after the earthquake of Lorca, some of the projects that have been presented, the less urgent, have been in the pipeline for later and thus be able to give priority to reconstruction of the city of Murcia.
We must also note that last year, surpassing the 13 million euros of investment, further action is carried out (159 performances in 42 schools) and some of great significance, hence the amount is also higher.
The Autonomous Community will focus its actions to repair, extension and refurbishment in eight schools, amounting to 1,100,296 euros, to be tender and to hire from within the Ministry, although the performance monitoring will be done by the municipal School Infrastructure.
As for the performances that will engage and directly supervise the City, it is eleven projects in as many schools, amounting to 365,073 euros.
