About a thousand people from the associations for the Elderly and Disabled of the municipality, on Thursday held a day of living in the Caritas camp in Los Urrutias, organized by the Social Care area of the City of Cartagena, in the course of which held the award ceremony and Dance Competition Municipal Petanque Championship, by the Social Care Councillor, Antonio Calderon.
The First Prize went to Dance No 2 p Areja Club Pozo Estrecho, formed by Michael and Encarna, the 2 nd prize for the No 8 Club of San Antón, made ​​by Anthony and Joseph, and the 3 rd prize for the No 7 of Club del Barrio Peral, made by Manuel and Antonia.
In addition, three second prizes were awarded and a special mention for the Clubs of San Ginés, Virgen de la Caridad, Virgen del Mar Residence Club of Vista Alegre.
After submission of the dance competition awards, we proceeded to the award ceremony of the Third Municipal Petanque Championship, organized by the Federation of Senior Citizens, which began on January 24 and ended on May 11, winning the First Prize Team Cartagena III B, belonging to Home III of IMAS.
As for the 2 nd prize, went to the club team Major José M ª Lapuerta and 3 ° for the Senior Club of Vista Alegre, with a reference to Astus team.
