Cartagena held this Friday, June 3, the World Environment Day with a festive day in the courtyard of Pier Alfonso XII will host many activities for all ages, all looking to raise awareness of good environmental practices.
The event is organized by the Club EMAS Murcia (EcoManagement and Audit Scheme), in collaboration with the Ministry of Environment, Rural and Marine Affairs, the Autonomous Community of Murcia and the city of Cartagena.
Activities will begin at 10.00 am with the opening of the stands, involving: Club EMAS Murcia, Cartagena Port Authority, Cartago Marpol SL-, phosphate Cartagena (ERCROS) Trimtor Company SA ; Inaqua (Water Engineering), Scrapping and SL Cranes Paris: Ministry of Agriculture and Water, Ministry of Universities, Business and Research, Directorate General of Industry, Energy and Mines, City of Cartagena.
In the morning, groups of primary school students visited the booths and participate in the activities highlighted.
For example, create a comic that will be painting school among all the bullets to show the actions they see as "Good Environmental Practices."
At 11.00 hours will be officially opened with the visit of officials and personalities, and the stands will remain open until noon and all afternoon at approximately 19.00 hours.
