The Ceremonial Hall of the Town Hall has now become a witness of the act of homage to the 23 municipal officials who have retired in the last year and they have received from the hands of the acting mayor, Pilar Barreiro, their respective boards recognition for services rendered to the City.
The mayor has not missed an opportunity to remind the honorees who is currently not retirement, but a jubilee, and now you must take to be with family and friends and give them the time they do not could you make while working.
Today's ceremony each year to coincide with the feast of Santa Rita, patroness of the city officials.
On this occasion have been seven retirees who have over 40 years of service and the oldest, Francisco Hernández Aparicio, has completed 45 years and retired last August as commander from the fire station.
During the tribute, which was attended by, next to the mayor, the councilman of Staff, Jose Cabezas, and the director general of Human Resources, Esperanza Nieto, has also been a reminder to the two officers who have died in recent months, Basil Salmon Galindo, Technical Education, which provided 22 years of service at City Hall, and Juan José Molina M artínez, local police officer with 37 years of service.
