Nine Latin sailboats gathered last Sunday, May 22, compared to the fishing harbor of Santa Lucia in the third race of the 2011 Calendar of Club Náutico de Santa Lucia Neighborhood Association Trophy.
At about eleven o'clock the signal was given out to participating ships: Patacho, Black Pearl, Taka-tak, Cala, Pinto, Gaviria, Arrow, Olympus and Poor Shadow. With Lebech force 3, took the candle Patacho control and the boys moved Garcia-Carreño almost alone throughout the race.
Among other boats, Pinto, skippered by Eugenio Martinez, won with relative ease.
A total of 16 trophies will compete in 19 races from May to October in the American Sailing 2011 calendar for the class of 21 spans.
Most of them played in the waters of the port of Cartagena and the Mar Menor and the bay of Portman.
