The hall of the Roman Theatre Museum will host tomorrow, Thursday 26 May, from 10.30 am, the closing ceremony of the IV edition of the ADE-Approach to Elite Sports -.
The ADE program was developed during the school year to bring youth to a sport responsibly, show the functioning of institutions, clubs and competitions, and athletes closer to Cartagena.
The closing ceremony will be attended by the Councillor for Sports in office, Alonso Gómez, director of the Teatro Romano, Elena Ruiz, as well as r epresentatives of sporting clubs and institutions of the city, including the FC Cartagena, Cartagena FS Reale , UCAM Floymape Table Tennis, Athletics Club ElCano the Cartagena Circuit Speed.
Moreover, the act will have the special presence of the mountaineer Cartagena, Carlos Garranzo that, among other achievements, completed a climb of Everest in 2006, and Kilimanjaro in 2007.
After the close, students and teachers who have participated through schools in the 2010-2011 season ADE program, conducted a tour of the museum of the Roman Theatre.
THE ADE is organized by the Department of Sports City of Cartagena, and has the support of the Directorate General of Sports of the Autonomous Community of Murcia, College of Graduate Studies in Physical Education and Physical Activity and Sports Region of Murcia and Cartagena Club Sport for All.
