A total of 1,200 associations for the Elderly and Disabled held next June 2 a day spent in his camp in the Urrutias Caritas organized by the Social Care area of the City of Cartagena.
The day of cohabitation serves as a celebration of the end of the 2010/11 academic year, the major activities organized by the Municipal Institute of Social and involving all 43 clubs in Cartagena, the Day Center and the Residence Virgin Algar Sea, and in which the residents moved from Lorca.
Tickets to attend the day of coexistence can be collected from today, May 19 at the Aging and Disability Unit in the building of the Miraculous 1st floor of Greater City Council Social Care Cartagena.
This coexistence, which is held every year, is aimed at creating a space for meeting and interaction between participants of different Clubs for the Elderly and Disabled in our town where activities have been developed as workshops and leisure activities, memory stimulation program, gerontogimnasia, lectures, video-forum, cultural excursions with visits, weeks of cultural content, and numerous courses.
The day of living will start at 11.00 hours on 2 June, dominoes, Parcheesi, caliche, petanque, beach walks and glucose measurements for persons who wish for the Diabetic Society of Cartagena , dance contest enlivened by the musical group Pearl Duo "and a recital of accordions and a spectacular tasting paella.
The day will end at 18.30 hours with the championship trophy municipal petanque and the dance contest.
