Students in the course of Restaurant-Bar Bartender organized by the Municipal Institute of Social Services received their diplomas on Friday during a ceremony held in the classroom building of the Miraculous
attended by the director of the Municipal Institute of Social Services, Antonio Mule, along with teachers and friends and family of students.
About forty people participated in this course of vocational training for unemployed and supported by the Regional Employment Service and Training of the Autonomous Community of Murcia and funded by the European Social Fund.
Bartender Course Restaurant-Bar, began on 4 October last year and ended today, after having given a total of 820 hours.
Students who have completed this training activity are recorded in the employment office as unemployed.
Students have studied the following subjects: Tourism and Hospitality, Health and Safety at Work, Food Handling, Preparation Rea Bar - Cafeteria, Procurement, Warehousing and Inventory Control, Supply and Services Bar Drinks, Cocktails, Preparation and Snacks & Appetizers Presentation Service, Iron, Lounge Preparation for Service, Wine Service and Champagne, and Buffests banquets, room service and billing, among other subjects.
This type of training courses for unemployed are one of the formulas developed by the City of Cartagena and the Autonomous Community, to respond to the great demand in the service sector in the Region of Murcia, enabling the necessary training to the unemployed working age in employment demand for inclusion in the workplace.
