From 17 to May 31 the term is open to register for any of the three fun-training programs to be developed during July and August 2011, offering about 600 seats aimed at children 5 to 16 years
Councillor for Education, Josefa Maroto, this morning the three fun and educational activities of the Educational Program for Summer 2011, targeting children and youth aged 5 to 16 years.
Thus become, once again, the Summer Schools, Musical Colonies, and the Summer Driver Education.
In total, for all three activities have been offered about 600 seats: 500 seats for summer schools, 75 places for the Colonies Musical, and the seats for Driver Education will be established according to the inscription.
The registration deadline for all summer programs will be from 9.00 pm on Tuesday, May 17 to 31 or, at 14.00 hours.
Registration can be done on-line on the municipal website ( www.cartagena.es ), in person at the other SKIP, or in person at the Department of Education, in the new building of the C / Ronda Ciudad de La Union, n No 4.
Councillor for Education, Josefa Maroto, recalled that the objective of these activities is to teach values ​​through creativity, integration and participation dynamics that promote personal and social development of young people.

SUMMER SCHOOL
Will be developed throughout the month of July, Monday through Friday, 9:00 to 14:00 am.
Are aimed at children aged between 5 and 12 years (organized into two groups, one from 5 to 8 years old and a 9 to 12).
The activities are divided into thematic workshops, including sports, English, body language and drama, dance, among others.
The number of places offered for this year is 500 beds, distributed by the 13 selected schools in the municipality such as:

The registration fee for Summer Schools is 65 euros.
Prior to the start of the Summer Schools, parents will convene a meeting of monitors and presentation of programming.
Summer School has a team of monitors of free time, teachers of Physical Education and Special Education, lifeguards and support staff as the company prepared by ODE (Sports and Educational Guidance.)
MUSIC CAMPS will be held at the College S.
Isidore and St. Florentina, between January 1 and July 15 from 9:00 to 13:00, Monday to Friday, with the possibility of a theater workshop from 13:00 to 14:00 voluntarily.
Music for the Colonies have been offered a total of 75 places for children from 4 to 11 years, to be formed into two groups, one of 4 to 5 years and another 6 to 11 years.
The registration fee for the Colonies Music is 75 euros.
The goal of these colonies Music is to encourage artistic sensibilities and musical interests of young people during their leisure time this summer.
One more year, is the team MUSIC AND MEDIA responsible for carrying out the activities.
EDUCATION AND SUMMER ROAD N
Be held at the Education Park Road Cartagena, Angel Bruna street, using his classroom theory sessions, and road circuit for practical sessions.
The number of places is limited and will be addressed in strict order of registration.
This registration is free and will take place within that period (from 17-31 May) and in person at the Department of Education in the Park Driver Education, and the SKIP.
With the registration will reserve a place, where a serial number assigned to each application.
The Road Safety Education is for children and young people between 9 and 16 who have their bicycle license (obtained during the school year by the driver education program in schools).
Activities will take place during July and August from 10:30 am to 12:30 pm, and Tuesday through Thursday inclusive.
