Arrested for attempting to assault two people with a knife (13/05/2011)

Local police have arrested an individual for attempted assault with a weapon at two people.

The incident occurred the morning of May 13 when officers moved to the Plaza Manuel de Falla in the Barrio San Cristobal, El Bohio, to intervene in a fight in which the detainee had tried to assault with a knife at two other people.

The man, 39, Spanish national, had verbally threatened and had come to rozarles with said weapon, short of injury of a serious nature.

The reason for the quarrel, they claimed involved, had been for the sale of a plasma TV.
