The Municipal Institute of Social Services within the Senior Program, has scheduled several days of visits to major museums and tourist attractions of the town during the entire month of May.
The routes begin on Tuesday, May 10, with the club over the Barrio San Gines that will delve into the ruins of the Roman Theatre in Cartagena.
On Wednesday 11 May the club over Alums attending the Naval and Military Museum on May 26 or older clubs Cuesta Blanca and the ports of Santa Barbara undertake a cultural visit to the Mina Groups Vicenta de La Unión.
The largest program undertaken by the Department of Social Services of the City of Cartagena, aims to promote active participation of older people through the various offers of activities to occupy their leisure time creatively and orderly develop their personal abilities , encouraging social and cultural exchange, prevent social isolation and loneliness, improve their quality of life, creating opportunities for participation and socio-cultural activities appropriate to their demands and needs, encouraging active participation, physical, mental and social elderly.
