Three cruise ships with 2,000 tourists arrive at the port this weekend (06/05/2011)

The month of May will receive a total of fourteen Cartagena with some 15,000 cruise tourists on board.

At the first stop this week joined the three ships arrive this weekend, with about 2,000 passengers.

On Saturday May 7 landfall on Ryndam of Holland America Line Company and the Club Med 2 of the company V. Ships Leisure MC.

Both ships remain in port from early morning until noon, and on board these two vessels come close to 1,500 passengers. As usual the Department of Tourism will have different points of information and a host of stairs to walk tell passengers the main attractions of the city, along with maps and brochures.

On Sunday 8 May, the ship will remain docked L'Austral from 7.00 am to 13.00 noon approx.

This luxury ship, the French company ÃŽles du Ponant, is 142 meters long and has a capacity to accommodate 264 passengers and 139 crew members.

The luxury ship L'Austral has a maximum attractive because all cabins are outside, riding a theater, a spa, a hammam or Turkish bath, a beauty salon and several restaurants.

It also has a panoramic room with a window to heaven that night, informing passengers of the stars and constellations are currently viewing.

SIETES CRUISES TO 20 MAY

Until May 20, seven cruise ships will call at the Port, including vessels Celebrity Equinox, the day May 12 and the Voyager of the Seas, Royal Caribbean, which will arrive on Saturday May 14 to 3114 passengers on board, and is considered one of the world's largest cruise ship.

Amenities include an ice skating rink, a climbing wall and a shopping boulevard.
