Beginning this May, many families in the municipality of Cartagena eligible for discounts on nearly two hundred businesses that will adhere to the framework agreement signed this morning by the Federation of Large Families of the Region (FANUMUR) and different associations merchants and restaurateurs of Cartagena.
The agreement was signed at the Palace Hall, was chaired by Councilman Trade of the City of Cartagena, Javier Herrero, serving as corporate sponsor of the proposal.
He has also attended the president of the Federation of Large Families of the Region of Murcia, Gonzalo Sanchez, along with the presidents of the participating merchants: the president of Open Mall, Shopping Centre Peak, Street Merchants Association San Fernando; Association West Widening traders, Association of Dealers in Los Belones, and Hostec.
The agreement will come to about 3,900 large families in the municipality of Cartagena, with an average of 5 to 6 members per family.
Discounts vary depending on the sector, including hotels, food, footwear, fashion or professional services like dentists.
Fanumur has set a minimum discount of 5%, which has received large retailers like Eroski.
In addition, small businesses, as explained by Fernando Rivas, president of the Association of Traders of Los Belones have warmly welcomed this initiative to streamline their business, as is the case of two food decorating shops and Acoba group in Los Belones and in Cartagena that will discount 10%.
About two hundred shops attached
The totality of businesses that will benefit from this agreement, about 200 in the municipality of Cartagena, they will be closing for the month of May. The shops carry a distinctive sticker in the window and the desk on which are identified as "Trade adhered + Family Plan. "
A total of 14 municipalities in the Region are in this initiative but, as indicated by the president of Fanumur, Cartagena will beat the record for number of shops belonging to the Plan.
Large families will receive a communication from the City Council signed by the mayor expressed in informing them of the stores and discounts that can benefit.
NATIONAL DISCOUNTS
This initiative is part of + Family Plan, which became operational in September 2010 in Spain and which have been conducted concerts with big car companies, insurance or pension.
Therefore, these discounts for large families also apply nationwide.
At the municipal level the goal is to bring families to their neighborhood stores to make your shopping more affordable everyday shopping. All municipalities gladly welcome this initiative as it encourages all parties: Families to benefit from discounts, the stores to boost business, the Federation for loyalty to members and local council for institutional presence and boost local trade, explained Fanumur president, Gonzalo Sánchez.
Large Families Federation Region (FANUMUR) is a private, apolitical, non-profit organization which brings together more than 23,000 families in the community.

ATTACHED TO FANUMUR

The membership fee is 36 euros per family per year, renewable annually.
