Cartagena is the venue chosen to host the Volleyball Championship in Spain child and cadet teams from regional to be held on Tuesday, April 26 through Sunday May 1, organized by the Higher Sports Council, the Directorate General of Regional Sports de Murcia, and the city of Cartagena.
A total of 1,200 athletes, 60 coaches, 40 referees, as well as delegates and heads of issuance of each of the 17 regions plus the autonomous cities of Ceuta and Melilla, will meet in Cartagena to be part of one of the events promotion of sport in school more important in Spain.

In the closing ceremony on Sunday, May 1, was given a Fair Play Trophy for each category and gender.
