The Mayor, Pilar Barreiro, accompanied by Maria Dolores Vera, widow of the late mayor's first democracy, Enrique Escudero de Castro, discover the Holy Wednesday, the portrait by Antonia Huertas, intended to complement the gallery's democratic mayors City of Cartagena.

The event was held in the Mayor's office at the Palace Hall, at 12 hours.

The portrait will be placed next to the portraits of the other mayors of the period, such as Juan Martínez Simón, Antonio Vallejo and Jose Antonio Alonso.
