The City of Cartagena will bring the Easter Cartagena to any corner of the world through Internet, thanks to the retransmission fee from its web page of the opening and processions, in collaboration with the local cable station TELECARTAGENA.
The broadcasts will begin with the Proclamation of Easter on Good Friday, April 15 and conclude with a procession of Easter Sunday.
Emissions can be viewed 24 hours a day through video streaming technology, so that the processions that will be broadcast live to see again in syndication until the next broadcast.
The proclamation and the shows will be streamed through the municipal website ( www.cartagena.es ) and its website devoted to Easter ( www.cartagena.es / semansanta ).

For years the city of Cartagena is using the network and new technologies to support the dissemination of the Holy Week processions.
In 2010, broadcasting and rebroadcasting of the shows passion between Good Friday and Easter Sunday reached a record high of 50,889 users, doubling the 20,000 of 2009.
More than 5,000 users daily half followed the processions and the Proclamation of Easter came to be discharged about three terabytes of information in images, sometimes reaching peak about 600 users connected at once.
The average time of these connections was about 10 minutes.
More than half of the users who are connected, 26,419 were in the Region of Murcia, and more than half of them, 18,278 were from Cartagena.
The broadcast Internet processions had a major impact in Spain, where they were followed by 8,083 locals, 3,672 Catalan, Valencian 3,256, and 1,165 in Andalusia, among the highlights.
Abroad were seen by about 5 percent of users, 2,554, of which 366 were Germans, 246 Americans, 156 French and 154 British.
For days, the most followed were the Ash Wednesday with 7,500 people on Palm Sunday, with 6,593.
