The director general of Transport today presented to organizations and associations related to the cycling world, the tool that has implemented the Autonomous Community to keep all the information about these facilities in the Region
The Director General of Transport, Carmen Sandoval, accompanied by Councilman Sustainable Development of the City of Cartagena, Isaiah Camarzana, visited the Palace Hall to present a new web www.bicicarm.es , which has launched the Department of Public Works and Planning in collaboration with the municipalities of the Region to disclose any information about cycle tracks of the infrastructure available in this case, the Campo de Cartagena.
The information day has been directed to the municipal officers who have contributed to the development of web content as well as associations and organizations related to the mobility industry and the bicycle.
On page one of the most cutting-edge worldwide, according to Sandoval noted, we include cycle tracks and cycle routes in the region, as well as bicycle-related news, information on bicycle parking (how many there are, where they are) and also offers the chance to see these routes by Google Map including all its features, exportable information can be downloaded on mobile devices or GPS.
For the director general of Transport, one of the benefits of this site, it displays all the information that the councils consider appropriate on the tracks, for example, if a route of interest or cultural interest.
The site has great potential, we must take the greatest possible use and that is what we are trying to raise awareness through this round of information sessions in town halls.
