The city of Cartagena presents great opportunities for all citizens can enjoy a quality of life than the one currently offered by our city.
In that sense, the SPCT election program includes a set of measures that aim to make our city a pleasant place to live.
So from SPCT propose the creation of a network of "Socio-forest" in the provincial and districts as possible.
This would focus on living green spaces and entertainment, ie points of socialization, recreation and relaxation, with the aim of responding to the lack of space for leisure activities outdoors.
These spaces would be carried out in soils classified as rural, to optimize costs in the vicinity of the provincial, equipped with organic gardens, jogging circuits and even furniture for families to enjoy a picnic.
In this same line from SPCT believe in creating a network of wind fences in the outskirts of Cartagena, in order to improve their conservation, maintenance and monitoring.
These parks should include, where space permits, basic sports facilities, so they can be used by residents who want to play sports and are not federated into any club.
The boost to cycling as a means of transport must be promoted by the City Council in this regard from SPCT will promote agreements with the Community of Irrigators of Campo de Cartagena to gradually incorporate the road network of the Tajo-Segura bike lanes .
It is vital for SPCT, the recovery of rural roads to become greenways.
In the same vein we support the creation of a municipal patrol bike, acting in the historic old city, with the aim of promoting mobility and accessibility for cyclists in the town.
The reduction of heavy traffic in urban areas of our town is one of the measures which have SPCT want to encourage to improve the quality of our neighbors.
Thus, we are committed to promoting the construction of park and ride for carriers, distributed by different municipalities, with the aim of keeping the movement of heavy vehicles through the streets of our towns and neighborhoods.
