A group of young people are Peyrehorade in Cartagena this week as guests of the IES El Bohio and have been welcomed today by the Palace Hall Youth Councillor, who has welcomed them to town
Youth Councillor, Ruth Collins, has today welcomed a group of French students found this week in Cartagena on the occasion of a linguistically cultural exchange with students of the IES El Bohio.
On this visit involved 27 students and three teachers French collège du Pays d'Orthe, accompanied by 30 students and three teachers of IES El Bohio.
The ages of participating students between 14 and 16.
The Exchange is an extracurricular activity given by the French Department of IES El Bohio and the Department of Spanish collège du Pays d'Orthe Peyrehorade (France).
French students, who are in Cartagena from 1 until 8 April, staying at the house of their Spanish colleagues this week to be able to know different lifestyles from yours, other cultural traditions and, above all, to communicate in French and Spanish respectively and see its usefulness.
French youth take advantage of their stay in Cartagena to visit, in addition to the Palace Hall, the National Museum of Underwater Archaeology, ARQVA, the Teatro Romano, catamaran ride in the harbor, the Civil War refugees and other places of interest the city.
Also conduct a coastal course at La Manga Calblanque and know the Mining Park of La Union, and even closer to Elche.
The students of IES El Bohio were in Peyrehorade (France) from 21 to 28 last March, where they were greeted by the mayor of the city and also visited cities like Pau, Biarritz, Dax and Bayonne, among other attractions .
It is the second exchange linguistically-cultural performing the IES El Bohio with collège du Pays d ¿Orthe of France, an activity that is being consolidated and that the Youth Council, through the IDEAS program, has supported since its inception.
