Local police seized in the course of several interventions during the month of March, a total of 603 articles for illegal hawking.
These articles were numerous audiovisual material, 197 CDs and 142 DVDs, as well as objects of prestige brands of counterfeit, among which 11 cases of perfume, 5 sets of tracksuits, 59 slips and 3 poles, plus makeup, coffee, belts or videos.
During the operation, officers also seized a large quantity of perishable products, with about 220 kilos of oranges and tangerines, 25 kilos of tomatoes, 5 kilos of lettuce, 145 kilos of potatoes and vegetables and fruits that are sold without any license and turned over to the Hospital of Santa Teresa.
Local Police, which controls this type of activity daily, and has done so far this year nearly half a hundred performances, especially among the major markets of the municipality where they concentrate most of these vendors.
