Local Police Cartagena surprised this afternoon to three individuals of Spanish nationality, 35, 27 and 23 years, trying to take several sections of the railway.
Those involved, who were located by agents in the stretch of track that connects with Escombreras Torreciega located in the rear of the industrial buildings on the street Marcus Aurelius, were making cuts on the rails of the track, owned by RENFE , and dragging a length of 6 meters.
When officers approached the scene, were able to verify that individuals carrying a torch with several feet of hose, a bottle of butane, a hammer and several wrenches, in a van parked near the road.
Watching the agents, the subjects reported that they took the rails because they were abandoned and needed money, because they were unemployed, being made ​​by officers to justice.
