The UPyD candidate for mayor, Fulgencio Egea, has assured that it is necessary to know the numbers of Cartagena that political parties will spend or invest as much as in the fundraising campaign for the forthcoming local elections.
For the candidate, this action is an exercise in transparency in times of economic crisis.
Egea Fulgencio argues that it is a right of citizens to know this information in order to be critical of the job that gives her money, because the main courses that go to these elections are the majority of that money from public accounts.
UPyD Candidate states that can boast of financial transparency as most of the money financing the campaign comes from the contributions of the members themselves.
"UPyD show you how with a budget far below that used by the other political parties can make a campaign open to the public, dynamic, participatory and transparent, based essentially on the activity of many selfless people, affiliated or not, they bring their time and effort for a dynamic new political project "
From UPyD manifest disagreement with the use of public funds for candidates by posting artwork purporting to show the "excellence of the municipal administration, or the use of institutional advertising in different media.
