The City of Cartagena, through the Coastal Services Institute (IMSEL) will begin in the coming days the work of three signaling pathways that integrate ecotourism in providing entertainment for citizens and tourists.
These are itineraries that cover the coastal areas of outstanding scenic and ecological value to what has been counting on the required authorization from the Directorate General of Environment.
The former path, about 26 kilometers, is linking the Marina of Cala Reona Carmolí with by the southern shore of Mar Menor.
Most of this route will use existing promenades, combined with other sections of trails that are enabled and will be clearly marked, as the Navy itself Carmolí the Lo Poyo salt or Marchamalo Salinas.
Be used for identification information signs, directional arrows and the usual red and white markings of the GR.
Another panel is placed indicative of flora, fauna and human activity developed in these spaces.
Another path will be signaled that unites the Church of the Azohía with Isla Plana, 5.3 miles, which run along the promenade of La Azohía and maritime path to Isla Plana San Ginés.
The marking of this trail, rated Local Path (SL) is green white and red, as it coincides with a portion of the route GR Cartagena Puerto de Mazarron.
The final path will be marked with brand and will post information that runs along the Rambla de El Canar, between Isla Plana and Tallante, 8.5 miles.
A route on which you can see outstanding views and unique specimens of flora and fauna, along the wall of Peñas Blancas.
The implementation of these projects has a budget of around € 56,000 funded equally by the City of Cartagena and the Autonomous Community.
