Neighborhood Board and City of El Albujón Miranda, has been conducting in recent weeks, an awareness campaign aimed at the neighbors make good use of parks and gardens in the area, for which they have installed signs aimed at making see that the care from the users of these spaces will provide a benefit to all citizens.
On the other hand, in collaboration with the municipal parks and gardens, have carried out a series of improvements at these facilities, such as painted pots, railings and benches as well as the arrangement of elements that were broken.
Furthermore, volcanic gravel has been applied in most beds to prevent evaporation of irrigation water and improve the look of the garden.
Other actions that have been made have been improving the system and the irrigation system to deliver water more precisely and new species have been replanted in the gardens.
OTHER IMPROVEMENTS IN INFRASTRUCTURE
Besides performances in parks and gardens in the area adjoining the premises of the Third Age of The Albujón also have been carried out important works, such as improving the lighting of the square, the design of their furniture and children's games and the adequacy of the irrigation network.
In the main square of this council, and through occupational workshop have been conditioned all beds with the reconstruction and painting of the same, and the replanting of new species, now working on improving the lighting of the access to square and surrounding streets.
Actions also have been important under sidewalks, in the plaza adjacent to the road to Los Gutierrez in The Albujón and around the stretch of Paseo de Pozo Dulce Miranda, or improvements in the signaling of villages located on the outskirts, as the case of crickets, Hernández, La Pedrera, Las Bernales, Casas del Palmero, Pinto, La Venta, El Albujón, Molino de Los Pesetas, Los Canavate, Las Casas and Los Garcias.
