The group of Local Police District has launched in the deputation of Pozo Estrecho Secure Trade campaign intended to make contact with traders in the area and, in case of incidents on their premises, speed up police response.
The initiative will also take place this week in La Palma, La Aparecida and La Puebla.
The campaign involved a total of 17 officers within the unit and be dedicated to contact directly with the owners of the establishments, to complete a record card with all information on trade who run as well as data concerning contact persons in case of any eventuality.
Thus, substantially all is meant to speed up police management as necessary, and to establish immediate contact with those responsible for the establishment.
The campaign, which began in collaboration with the Chamber of Commerce and was started in June 2010 in Los Dolores, and with the participation of 180 establishments between Los Dolores and La Aljorra.
Moreover, since the local police are encouraged that all dealers will join this initiative to improve the service offered and effectively to resolve any issues which might arise in the establishment in the absence of the owner as a result of theft incidents in the electricity supply, broken locks, among other problems.
