The Minister of Public Works and Planning, José Ballesta, together with the mayors of Cartagena, Pilar Barreiro, and supplies to lick, María Antonia Conesa, has opened this morning in the town of Cartagena Tallante new variant.

This new version will add two new ones soon in Cuesta Blanca and Ports, to ensure greater comfort and quality of life for neighboring residents and drivers who travel between the regions of Lower Guadalentín and the Campo de Cartagena .
In the section that was opened to traffic is 2,500 meters long and has been carried out by building a platform of 11 meters wide with one lane in each direction and associated verges, roundabouts and three new 40-meter diameter with two lanes of 3.5 meters and 1.5 meter shoulders to organize the movement.
It also has placed a new lighting system at the roundabouts, which give access to Tallante, shovels, and the town of Fuente à lamo, in order to increase the visibility and safety at night.

GLOBAL IMPROVEMENT PROJECT
This action is part of a larger project on the road RM-332, between Cuesta Blanca and Los Ruices, with an investment of seven million euros and improvement of a total of ten miles, through a bypass general of 8.4 km with eight new roundabouts to improve traffic safety at intersections and removing a black dot at the height of overhead doors, and packaging other than 1.6 kilometers to the extension of curves small radius and an extension of the platform.
