After its premiere last December, the film can be enjoyed Carthago Nova by the public in Room 8 of the Commercial Space Center Neocine Mediterranean, with capacity for 268 people, from Friday 25 to Thursday 31 March, in a single day pass at 18.00 and the special price of 3 euros per ticket.
Along with its display to the general public, are conducting a series of free matinee for schools in Cartagena, coordinated action by the Integra Foundation in Cartagena CPR.
Carthago Nova is an audiovisual work of 65 minutes duration developed entirely through computer animation.
Is produced by the Integra Foundation and reflects the enormous technical and creative talent that holds the Region of Murcia and its realization has been the result of work for three years, a large multidisciplinary team composed mainly of companies and professionals in the region.
In the film, the viewer is immersed in an evocative journey through time to the first century AD, which transports you to one of the great cities of Hispania, the Roman Empire, that stood out for its strategic value.
The film makes a complete tour of the city of Carthago Nova through a fictional story starring Albino prosperous family and their struggle with the powerful and greedy Lucio Andro.
This proposal seeks to teach through entertainment, construction and especially highlights of Roman society that lived in Carthago Nova, whose urban fabric has been digitally reconstructed in its entirety, together with its environment 2,000 years ago from of archaeological remains found in the present Cartagena.
The first part of the film was shown last year in Archaeological "GICA 2.0, II International Congress of Archaeology and Computer Graphics, Heritage and Innovation in Seville, where he was considered the best work on an informative virtual archeology to date and from which the projection has been requested by several international congresses of the historic environment and technology.
Also the international leadership of another ambitious project, Rome reborn in digital reconstruction of Rome and its empire, has requested the inclusion of Carthago Nova in a joint effort.

Carthago Nova is an initiative of Digital Murcia, www.regmurcia.com, in which various entities have worked as the City of Cartagena, the Municipal Archaeological Museum of Cartagena, the Foundation Teatro Romano de Cartagena, the Symphony Orchestra of the Region Murcia and Discantus coral.
The entire project, which has produced numerous documents, virtual sets and videos for the History Channel web that has been coordinated by the Integra Foundation and is framed in the Third Plan for the Development of Information Society in the Region Murcia.
It is a project financed by the Ministry of Economy and Finance of the Autonomous Community of Murcia and European FEDER funds.
