The candidate of the United Left-Greens for mayor of Cartagena, Jaime Cayetano Molto, today accused the mayor of the town, Pilar Barreiro, to "send more to govern" and showing "disrespect" for the figure of the Ombudsman people.
Molto Jaime was speaking after Barreiro replicase to a recommendation by the Ombudsman on the saturation of Cabo de Palos noise that "each institution should know their responsibilities."
According to the head of the list of IU-Greens, the "arrogance and hubris" of the mayor "can not be justified" because the Ombudsman only request information and makes recommendations in relation to complaints made by citizens.
"The mayor should listen to these complaints rather than on interpretations masked authoritarian rule suggests that far from the interests of citizens, just the mere intention to send," she added.
