The Local Government of the City of Cartagena today approved the signing of a cooperation agreement between the City and Repsol Petroleo SA to put artificial turf on the football field of alum, a performance in which the company was putting time and interest with an investment of 360,000 euros to be provided entirely by the refinery.
As pointed out by municipal spokesman, Joaquin Segado, the agreement provides that Repsol will give this amount over four years, although the work the contract will bring the City Council and will be implemented immediately.
This action, Segado He notes, joins the long list of works to improve sports facilities that the government team has conducted in the municipality over the legislature, as the four artificial turf fields in Garden City, The Algar, Gomez Meseguer and Urbanization Mediterranean, which was recently awarded, or both indoor and Pozo La Aljorra Strait, in a trial period as well as the halls of La Palma and El Albujón, sports facilities and Playa Paraiso first phase of the sports center of Alum.
